Articulate® Storyline® – Bullet Color

It’s been a while since I’ve added any screencasts here, so, today’s the day! And since tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d go with one that has a Valentine Design.

A question that pops up frequently in the Articulate® Community Forums is how to change bullet color – that is, to make bullets a different color than their associated text. If that’s a question you’ve been asking yourself, take a coupla’ minutes to watch this video.

Another method I find easy after you import PPT slides: Highlight the paragraph marker at the end of a bulleted line, and pick your color form the pop-up menu. This is actually faster; at least for me.

I find that the format painter does work for changing lines back to black after following the instructions given here. Manually change the first line back to black with a red bullet (or any colors.) Then highlight the line. Next, double click the format painter and run it from right to left over each remaining line. Saves a little time but not as good as planning ahead as described in the video.
